About Me
Life long Music lover and lover of life
Music wasn’t just a hobby; it was the air I breathed back in the early eighties when I belted out tunes in the high school band. After graduation, the rhythm section thumped on as I laid down basslines in an amateur rock band. But life, like any good song, has its key changes. For 40 years, I traded guitar strings for wrenches, working alongside my family at Montyy’s Auto Parts in Powdersville, SC. Then, life threw me a curveball – a leg amputation that threatened to mute my melody.
However, music, it seems, has a will of its own. A gentle strum of the ukulele at Providence Presbyterian Church reignited the spark. That single note blossomed into a symphony, leading me to the world of buying, selling, trading, and repairing instruments. It wasn’t just about the music itself; it became a platform to give back. Donating instruments to disabled kids through a local music therapy program and refurbishing guitars for veterans brought immense joy, proving that the power of music transcends physical limitations.
Now, residing in Easley, SC, with my lovely lady friend, Jessica, and my Truck-Ridin’ Dog, Crash, I still chase the beat. Whenever possible, we hit the road, exploring new landscapes and melodies. And every instrument I buy, sell, or repair is another note in the song of giving back. If you, like me, believe in the transformative power of music, let’s connect and harmonize together. Together, we can ensure that the music never stops, for ourselves and for those who need it most.
